Can you expand on the nutrition aspect? My 9 years old son was diagnosed a year ago. On infliximab, trying 2 weekly doses as still high inflammation but no nutritional advice apart from "eat a well balanced diet". We are in Inverness.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this. I have had Crohn’s since 1990 and my treatment has been a disaster. I am a dietitian, which has been very helpful, but doctors need better training.
My son has struggled with weight gain since starting remsima/infliximab. Doctors insist it has nothing to do with the drug. Anyone else and are there any alternatives that dont cause increased appetite?
